Temple Valley Secondary School was opened by the Department of Education in 1990. The school has went through major change due to the fact that both Temple Valley and Siphesile Secondary both operate on the same campus. Although this was a challenge for the school the school has grown from strength to strength. We have accomplished a 100% pass rate in 2004 and a 94% past rate in 2006.
TVS offers a variety of learning areas, including:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering Graphic Design
- Information Technology
- Computer Application Technology
- isiZulu
- Afrikaans, etc.

TVS is one of the BEST schools in kwa Zulu Natal. Having spent my junior - senior years there the educators where superb and always strived to get the BEST education to the students!!They have indeed enabled me to become a successful career woman... wow!temple valley is the best high school around verulam...i was a student there in 2006-2007 and i enjoyed being there...the school has the best teachers and i am what i am today because of them..samke mlambo...and to mrs chetiar i followed your path im in the tourism industry( i have an ecotourism national diploma) thank u all

TVS is the best,every one knows that.I just miss every one from that loving family.Its was so sad that i had to say goodbye in 2009 bt that doesnt mean i have forgotten about anyone.I LV U AL TEMPLE VALLEY's kip on doing what you do the best.

TVS is by far the best school I have came across, it has well behaved students and highly qualified teachers, I have been molded to be a better students today by the staff of temple valley, they believe in their students and do not bring you down...
